The watch brand Airain

The watch manufacturer Montres Airain was founded in 1934 by the esteemed Dodane family and gained recognition for its reliable and high-quality timepieces. In the 1950s and 1960s, Airain (along with Breguet and Dodane) was one of the selected suppliers of the Type 20 model to the French Army. The designation Type 20 refers to a specification for pilot's chronographs issued by the French Ministry of Defense.

Besides the Type 20 chronograph, iconic models such as the "Sous-Marine" diver's watch and the Airain "77" from the 1950s are also part of Airain's heritage, which are still highly sought after by collectors worldwide.

Today, Airain is being relaunched, with a focus on carrying the brand's heritage into the future.
