The roots of the watch brand JEAN MARCEL go back to the beginnings of the watch company GENGENBACH, which emerged from the so-called “Gold City” Pforzheim as a manufacturer of wristwatches in the 1920s.

The enduring value of a JEAN MARCEL watch is based on the use of high-precision Swiss movements and sophisticated, handcrafted cases, dials, and hands. Adherence to the strictest quality criteria ensures that these masterpieces of horology are characterized by outstanding quality, high aesthetics, comfort, and exceptional precision.

For three decades, the brand has been dedicated to the production of extremely flat and elegant watches, constantly breaking new records: Ultra-flat quartz and mechanical watches are the hallmark of JEAN MARCEL.

All JEAN MARCEL watch models are available in very limited quantities. Furthermore, all mechanical movements are meticulously fine-tuned. The corresponding certificate is included with every mechanical watch in its box.

True to the motto “affordable luxury”, JEAN MARCEL’s central challenge is to offer Swiss-made watches not only of exceptional quality, but also at affordable prices for our customers.

Since the 1980s, and through challenging times, Jürgen Kuhn successfully guided the company by focusing on sophisticated design and meticulous craftsmanship in every detail. His son, Marcel Kuhn, the current managing director, continues this company philosophy and consistently pursues the goals of JEAN MARCEL, supported by a team of top-tier designers and watchmakers.

To this day, experienced specialists at several locations in Switzerland manufacture watches under the brand name JEAN MARCEL with the desired calm and composure required for these masterpieces of micromechanics.

The development, engineering, design and customer service departments are located in Germany.

JEAN MARCEL watches stand out from uninspired, mass-produced timepieces. The granting of patents for exceptionally positioned date and day windows, telemetry displays on the opposite side of the central chronograph seconds hand, or the secret signature on the anti-reflective coating, visible through gentle breathing on the sapphire crystal, make Jean Marcel watches so special.
