Ollech Wajs OW M110 AS

The Ollech Wajs OW M110 AS is the first OW watch equipped with the Soprod P024 movement. The new movement is the result of close collaboration between OW and Soprod. It is a bespoke version of the Soprod P024, modified to OW's specifications and adjusted in five positions.

With this watch you can determine the south even without a compass. The U.S. Army Ranger Manual for Infantrymen describes how to take a bearing using the clock method. This is a technique that involves aligning the hour hand with the sun and then halving the distance between the hour hand and the 12 o'clock position to determine south.

Another special feature of the OW M-110 that will be familiar to military users are the radio silence markings on the dial. These are three-minute periods immediately after every quarter hour that are reserved exclusively for making emergency calls - and listening to emergency calls.
