HTD was founded as a small, independent company after Federico Del Guerra and Federico Zulian, two Italian designers, met during their studies. Their shared passion for watchmaking led them to pursue the recurring idea of changing something in this industry and bringing new energy to the Italian watchmaking industry.
The components are designed in Florence and assembled and maintained by the experts and skilled hands that local artisans have to offer. This means that the quality control, which is HTD's top priority, remains directly on site.
The dream is to usher in a new era of watchmaking in Italy, where companies once again design and produce in our country. At the moment, there is a lack of technical capacity in this area, but one has to start somewhere.”

Our great passion for vintage design drives us, and we wondered why there aren't any watches anymore that exude the charm of yesteryear. We don't want to overdo it on a technical level, but even everyday pieces should have those details that reflect the aura and spirit of bygone eras.”
