The company that would later become Marathon Watch was founded in 1904 as “Weinstrum Watch” and later renamed “Wein Brothers.”
In 1939, Morris Wein founded the Marathon Watch company, supplying fine precision timepieces throughout North America. This family photo dates from 1892. Morris Wein is sitting on his father Hirsch Wein's lap at about one year old.
