The Ollech Wajs OW P104 SELECTRON shares many of the basic features of its historical predecessors. It features a bi-directional bezel with logarithmic scales that can perform a variety of calculations with a single rotation. It is faster than a so-called smartwatch, does not require a battery and can be used up to 300 m underwater if necessary.

Before the 1970s, slide rules were indispensable for everyday arithmetic tasks such as calculating ratios, percentages, unit conversions, multiplication, and division. Therefore, from the mid-20th century onward, wristwatches with miniature scales were used as slide rules by scientists, engineers, and pilots to calculate things like fuel consumption, airspeed, rate of climb or descent, and much more. This exceptional automatic caliber is independently tested for reliability and longevity at the internationally renowned Laboratoire Dubois in Chaux-de-Fonds. It is modified to OW's specifications and adjusted in five positions.
